Incident at 10 NM S of EDMONTON INTL AB (CYEG) (Conflict - loss of separation, ATS operating irregularity)


2001-10-23: UPDATE ANS and Airspace reported that NAV CANADA has concluded a Fact Finding Board.
2001-07-20: NTM 241, a PA-31 Navajo, was enroute IFR from City Centre Airport to Calgary and established on vectors approximately 10 miles south of Edmonton YEG southeast bound. ACA 3605, a B737, was IFR from Calgary in descent to YEG for an ILS Runway 02 approach. A loss of separation occurred when lateral separation decreased to approximately 2.4 miles with 700 feet vertical separation. The required separation is 3 miles lateral or 1,000 feet vertical.
