Summary

2001-07-16: Between 0400Z and 0500Z, July 13, a weather cell passed over Calgary International Airport with high winds and wind shifts. One aircraft executed a missed approach due to the weather, three aircraft diverted to Edmonton, six aircraft were held up to a maximum hold time of 25 minutes. Calgary Tower reported at 0515Z that 9 aircraft were still waiting clear of the apron due to lightning activity.
