Incident at SASKATOON / JOHN G. DIEFENBAKER INTL SK (CYXE)

Summary

2001-05-31: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that after the noted incident, the aircraft was inspected by TC Aviation in Saskatoon and no faults could be found. Numerous runups were done and the left engine/turbo functioned normally. This morning at Points North Landing, the pilot reported the same problem again. The aircraft is now out of service at Points North and maintenance personnel are investigating the cause of the reluctant turbo. Updates to follow when available.
2001-05-30: The pilot of C-GCGQ, a Cessna 402, rejected the takeoff on Runway 15 at Saskatoon when the left engine turbo would not engage. The cause of the malfunction is unknown.
