Summary

2001-05-11: UPDATE Aerodrome Safety reported that the bird program was discussed with the airport manager and this seems to be an isolated incident, since most birds have not arrived from the south. Various scare tactics are in place at Whitehorse. No further action required.
2001-05-09: The crew of ANT 005, a Beech 99, rejected their takeoff at Whitehorse due to a bird strike. They elected to return to the apron and inspect the a/c and no damage was found. The flight subsequently departed at 1523Z.
