Summary

2001-05-09: The pilot of C-FGAI, a Diamond DA-20, was operating in the practice area near St. Andrews when he advised St. Andrews Tower of high engine temperature. The pilot requested priority to land at YAV and landed uneventfully at 1635Z. One other a/c in the circuit was not affected by the priority. The cause of the engine overheat is not known.
2001-05-10: UPDATE TSB reported that the problem was corrected by removal of the winter baffles.
