Incident at CALGARY INTL AB (CYYC)

Summary

2001-04-26: CDR 8387, a DHC-8, was on final to Runway 28 at Calgary when the crew reported an unsafe gear indication and elected to overshoot. They subsequently reported the problem was rectified and landed on Runway 34 without further incident. There was no operational impact to other a/c.
2001-04-30: UPDATE TSB reported that it was determined that the nose gear warning light lens was loose, and the gear down and locked light would not illuminate. The lens was tightened by maintenance and the aircraft returned to service.
