Summary

2001-03-26: At 2226Z, the crew of CDR 8505, a DHC-8, rejected takeoff at Winnipeg and came to a stop 600 feet from the departure threshold. The crew made some checks on the runway and requested takeoff again. The takeoff was again rejected. The A/C taxied to the apron for a short time then taxied back to the runway and departed at 2240Z without further incident. TSB will be in touch with the company.
