Summary

2001-03-26: AT APPROXIMATELY 1705Z, THE CREW OF C-FNCB, A BEECH KING AIR ENROUTE FROM WINNIPEG (YWG) TO THUNDER BAY, INFORMED ATC THAT THEY WISHED TO RETURN TO YWG DUE TO A CRACKED WINDSCREEN. THE A/C RETURNED TO YWG AND LANDED SAFELY ON RUNWAY 36 AT 1731Z. NO OTHER A/C WERE REPORTED DELAYED. ERS WAS NOT REQUIRED
2001-03-27: UPDATE Maintenance and Manufacturing reported that the aircraft is maintained by the Petro Canada AMO and the outer pane only cracked. An AME was on board and he replaced the windshield. An SDR will be filed. As per the flight manual, the aircraft can be flown with minimal pressurization (up to two psi) with a cracked outer pane.
