Incident at KAMSACK SK (CJN2)

Summary

2001-03-19: The aircraft a Cessna 210 turbo was on a VFR flight plan from a private strip 20 miles south of Gravelbourg to Kamsack with an eta of 18:00Z. At appoximately 18:30Z personnel from Regina FSS started a preliminary communications search. They contacted the RCMP and rquested that they check the airport at Kamsack to determine if the aircraft was on the ground. At 19:00Z the RCMP phoned Regina FSS and confirmed that FBNB was indeed down in Kamsack. Approximately 3 hours later the pilot of FBNB called to cancel the flight plan.
