Summary

2001-03-01: The pilot of C-GWNT, a privately-owned Cessna Cardinal, was taxiing for departure from Winnipeg International Airport to Brandon and had been given taxi clearance via Taxiway Charlie, Hotel, Foxtrot and Tango to Runway 18. The pilot inadvertently missed Tango and taxied onto Runway 18, which he thought was Tango. ATC was able to stop the pilot and get him turned around to vacate the runway. The closest a/c for landing on Runway 18 was 20 miles out.
