Incident at THOMPSON MB (CYTH)

Summary

2001-03-01: C-GEUY, a Cessna 414 with 5 people on board, departed Cross Lake for Winnipeg, however after takeoff, the pilot was unable to retract the landing gear. He elected to divert to Thompson, where the flight landed without incident at 1213Z. The cause of the gear problem is not known.
2001-03-05: UPDATE M. & M. reported that after arrival in Thompson, maintenance found the manual landing gear extension crank to be unstowed, disabling the normal system. The pilot was embarassed and continued on with the flight.
