Incident at HIGH LEVEL AB (CYOJ) (Overshoot/missed approach, Incursion - runway - aircraft)

Summary

2001-03-01: C-GXDJ, a Cessna 182, was on a 3 mile final for Runway 13 at High Level with BXH 701, a Beech King Air, following. SN 104, a PC-12, taxied onto Taxiway Alpha without the knowledge of FSS, which meant that C-GXDJ could not exit the runway after landing because Taxiway Alpha is the exit route. SN 104 had to proceed onto the runway to turn around and then go back to the ramp. Since this kept C-GXDJ on the runway for a period of time, BXH 701 had to do a missed approach before being able to land.
