Incident at RED EARTH CREEK AB (CEH5)

Summary

2001-02-16: The pilot of C-FRKZ, a PA-34 Seneca, advised that while departing Runway 12 at Red Earth Creek, the front gear struck something on the runway. The pilot was not able to determine what the object was, nor was the local airport authority able to locate any object, debris on or near the runway in a subsequent runway check. C-FRKZ landed without further incident. Damage was reported as minimal but the pilot did indicate that there was a loss of hydraulic fluid.
