Incident at THOMPSON MB (CYTH)


2001-02-07: The pilot of C-GTQR, a Piper Navajo, was departing on Runway 23 at Thompson for a flight to Cross Lake when he advised he was rejecting the takeoff. The aircraft returned to the south ramp and the pilot indicated the rejection was due to a problem with engine power. No assistance was required.
2001-02-27: UPDATE M. & M. reported that after the rejected takeoff, the engine was inspected by maintenance and a faulty manifold pressure indicator was found to be at fault. The indicator was replaced and the aircraft returned to service.
