Incident at CALGARY INTL AB (CYYC)

Summary

2001-02-07: The crew of CDR 8483, a DHC-8, reported multiple bird strikes while on left base for Runway 34 at Calgary International Airport at 6,000 feet ASL. It was later reported that there was no damage to the aircraft.
2001-04-11: UPDATE Aerodrome Safety reported that the Wildlife Officer from Calgary Airport was contacted after the incident and he commented on the type as possibly sparrows, however the altitude was fairly high for this type of bird. The incident took place outside of airport property.
