Incident at YELLOWKNIFE NT (CYZF)

Summary

2001-01-31: The crew of FAB 052, a HS 748, was on approach to Yellowknife on a flight from Gjoa Haven when they reported some difficulties with the flight controls and a possible hydralic failure. ERS were on standby as the flight landed safely on Runway 33 at 0406Z. TSB will be contacting the operator.
2001-02-01: UPDATE TSB reported that the crew of the First Air flight departed Gjoa Haven on an Instrument Flight Rules flight to Yellowknife. After take-off, the crew reported a lower than normal hydraulic pressure, until the landing gear was lowered. No emergency was declared. ERS was on standby as the aircraft landed on Runway 33 at Yellowknife without further incident.
