Incident at WINNIPEG / JAMES ARMSTRONG RICHARDSON INTL MB (CYWG)

Summary

2001-01-02: ACA 1172, a DC-9 enroute from Winnipeg (YWG) to Toronto departed YWG at 2029Z. The a/c was approximately 30 NM NE of YWG when an emergency was declared and the Captain advised the flight would be returning. The crew stated they had an indication of a partial thrust reverser deployment. ERS responded. Cockpit indications returned to normal while the a/c was on approach and ACA 1172 landed safely at 2054Z. No other a/c were inconvenienced or delayed. TSB has been advised.
