Incident at SAINT JOHN NB (CYSJ) (Aerodrome property - death/injury)

Summary

2001-10-31: ARN8608 FA28 approximately 10 minutes after the aircraft arived and deplaned their passengers, the pilot informed FSS that one of the passengers had slipped on the aircraft stairs, and had been taken into the terminal building in a wheelchair by airline staff. AFF were advised and sent a firefighter to the terminal to attend the victim. The firefighter reported that the passenger had bumped her head and an ambulance was sent to take her to the hospital.
