Incident at BATHURST NB (CZBF)

Summary

2001-10-29: ARN8159 DH8 when 45 nm west of Bathurst shut down #1 engine. Returned to Bathurst. Landed safely at 2348z. TSB Case Closed with more to follow.
2001-10-31: TSB Update Oct 30, 2001. A01A0132: ARN8159, a DHC-8 was en route from Bathurst to Montreal when the flight crew noticed a low oil pressure indication on the number one engine (Pratt & Whitney PW120). The crew shutdown the number one engine, requested and received a clearance to return to Bathurst and landed safely at 2048 ADT without further incident. Maintenance inspection revealed failure of the oil cooler; the oil cooler was replaced and the aircraft was returned to service.
