Incident at Gander Oceanic approx. 100 miles east of 51/50


2001-10-09: RCH8214 C5 enroute Ramstein (Germany) to Gander, loss pressurization at 36,000 feet and declared an emergency. Aircraft initially descended to 28,000 feet and then to 15,000 feet. RCH8214 followed contingency procedure south and at 1830Z advised canceling emergency and proceeding to Dover Airforce Base. No traffic and no assistance required. Nil TSB
