Summary

2001-08-29: TSB Update August 28, 2001. A01A0104: The L1011 aircraft operating as RCH4863 was on approach to Gander when the crew declared an emergency because they were not getting a down and locked indication on the nose landing gear. The aircraft landed without incident.
2001-08-27: RCH4863 L101 landing Gander advised controller during arrival phase that he was not getting a locked indication on the nose wheel. Declared emergency. AFF vehicles called out. Landed without incident at 0136Z. TSB Case Closed.
