2001-08-21: AT OPPROX. 22:38 LOCAL TIME, ERS WERE NOTIFIED BY AIR CANADA PERSONNEL THAT A MALE PASSENGER ON INBOUND CDR8610 FLIGHT WAS SUFFERING OF CHEST PAINS AND OXYGENE WAS BEING ADMINISTERED. AIR CANADA HAD ALREADY CALLED FOR AN AMBULANCE. AS ERS WAS ON STANDBY ON APRON,AMBULANCE ARRIVED APPROX. 10 MIN. BEFORE AIRCRAFT (22:50). ERS ESCORTED AMBULANCE/ATTENDANTS TO AIRCRAFT/PASSENGER ONBOARD WHERE THEY IN TURN LEAD HIM TO AMBULANCE.PATIENT STILL HAD CHEST PAINS AS AMBULANCE RUSHED HIM TO HOSPITAL.THERE WAS NO OPERATIONAL IMPACT BESIDES A 5-10 MIN. DELAY OF DEPLANING PASSENGERS. Nil TSB
