Incident at GREATER MONCTON ROMEO LEBLANC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2001-08-07: Aircraft on a test flight reported 5 miles north of the Moncton airport with electrical problems . No assistance required . Aircraft landed safely 1419Z. No impact on operations . Same aircraft that had electrical problems the previous day . Nil TSB.
2001-08-13: Maintenance and Manufacturing Update : The first CADOR was generated when the aircraft's alternator failed. The alternator was replaced and on the next flight, electrical power was lost when a connecting plug disconnected from the voltage regulator. The plug was re-installed and the aircraft was returned to service.
