2001-07-24: A01A0083:TSB UPDATE : The Pakistan International Airlines flight PIA 715, a B747-200, en route from Manchester to New York was 20 NM east of Moncton when the crew advised they were shutting down number three engine (CF6-50E2). No assistance was requested other than descent clearance to FL310. The aircraft continued to destination. TSB Case closed
2001-07-23: PIA715 (Pakistan International Airlines), B-747 enroute Manchester , England to JFK reported shut down of #3 engine. No assistance required. Aircraft descended to FL310. RCC advised. No other aircraft involved. TSB evaluating
