Incident at Over Sable Island


2001-07-23: AAL142, B-777, enroute JFK to London (Heathrow) reported a ""situation"" on board over Sable Island and requested a course reversal and clearance to BOS. No assistance required and not details given initially. Aircraft descended to FL350 from FL370 and cleared as requested. No other aircraft affected. Pilot later stated that the problem was a medical emergency. BOS advised. Nil TSB
