Incident at HALIFAX / STANFIELD INTL NS (CYHZ)

Summary

2001-07-11: TSB Update July 10, 2001. A01A0069: DAL28, a B767 was en route from New York to Paris when the flight crew reported an ""engine anomaly"" and requested and received a clearance to return to New York. The crew did not require assistance and the aircraft exited Canadian airspace without further incident. After returning to New York, the flight crew reported to the operator that the number one EPR indicator had been fluctuating. Maintenance personnel replaced the number one engine (PW 4000) FMU and the aircraft has since been returned to service.
2001-07-03: DAL28 B767 ENROUTE NEW YORK TO PARIS WHEN 40 SOUTHEAST OF HALIFAX REPORTED AN ENGINE ANOMALY, AND RETURNED TO NEW YORK. NO ASSISTANCE REQUIRED. TSB CASE CLOSED WITH MORE TO FOLLOW.
