2001-07-03: TSKR53 H46 VFR 900 FT TRANSITTED MONCTON CONTROL ZONE. AT 3 MILES SOUTH PILOT REQUESTED LANDING AT MONCTON. PILOT WAS ASKED IF HE REQUIRED ASSISTANCE AND HE DECLINED. AIRCRAFT WAS CLEARED TO LAND ON THE APRON AT HIS DISCRETION. PILOT CALLED LATER AND INFORMED TOWER THAT THE AIRCRAFT TRANSMISSION HAD FAILED. NIL TSB
