2001-06-13: BOSTON BACKUP RADAR FAILED AT 0020. BOSTON WAS ACCEPTING NO AIRCRAFT OTHER THAN THOSE ALREADY IN THE AIR. MONTREAL REROUTED EASTBOUND DEPARTURES TO REMAIN IN CANADIAN AIRSPACE. THREE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE MARITIMES WESTBOUND AND WERE REROUTED SLIGHTLY (ACA639, KFA289 AND KFA281). NO DELAYS TO AIRBORNE AIRCRAFT. BOSTON RETURNED TO FULL RADAR SERVICE AND AT 0053 OPERATIONS WERE RETURNED TO NORMAL. NIL TSB
