Incident at CHARLOTTETOWN AIRPORT

Summary

2001-05-22: ARN840 DH8 enroute Charlottetown to Halifax reported a precautionary shutdown of #2 engine. Requested priority at Halifax. Landed 0959 without incident. TSB Case Closed.
2001-05-25: TSB Update May 23, 2001. A01A0053: While en route from Charlottetown to Halifax, the crew observed that the # 2 engine (P&W PT120A) oil pressure was between 45 and 55 PSI. The QRH was reviewed and the #2 engine condition lever was placed in the start/feather position for the remainder of the flight. ATC was advised and ERS was requested for the landing. The aircraft landed without further incident.
