Incident at GANDER INTL NL (CYQX) (Incursion - runway - vehicle)
2001-05-08: TSB Update : A01A0045: N39CD, a corporate Challenger aircraft was cleared for take off on runway 13 at Gander. A runway maintenance vehicle, Blower 128, had been given permission to work runway 13/31 about an hour prior. Nine seconds after the take clearance was issued, Blower 128 reported on the runway and requested permission to hold short of 13/31 in ECHO. Tower canceled N39CD's take off clearance; the aircraft had not started its take off roll. Once Blower 128 reported clear, take off clearance was reissued

2001-05-04: N39CD CL60 departing Gander for New-York, was advised by the tower that take-off clearance was cancelled for runway 13 at 00:27:29, due to Blower 128 on runway 13 and requesting permission in ECHO to hold short of runway 13/31. Blower 128 reported off runway 13/31 and N39CD was cleared for take-off at 00:28:02. Blower 128 had been given permission to work on runway 13/31 at 23:33:34. At 00:27:08 N39CD advised ready for departure of runway 13 and take-off clearance was issued at 00:27:20 TSB Case Closed
