Incident at CHARLOTTETOWN AIRPORT

Summary

2001-04-27: Follow up information from Maintenance & Manufacturing [2001/04/25]:The hydraulic system test solenoid had failed. The solenoid valve was replaced and the aircraft returned to service . A SDR has been submitted.
2001-04-22: CTG363 B105 helicopter reported 14 miles west of Charlottetown inbound with a hydraulic failure. Pilot declared an emergency with an ETA of 7 minutes. CTG363 landed safely at the Coast Guard helipad at 1228Z. AFF were activated and given details. Only one aircraft was held on ramp until emergency was over and departed runway 28 at 1235Z.
