Incident at SAINT JOHN NB (CYSJ)

Summary

2001-04-10: CFALI C550 landig Saint John flew through a flock of small birds while on approach to runway 23. After starting his backtrack off the runway, the pilot mentioned that he believed the aircraft struck a few of the birds. The pilot reported seeing two dead birds on the runway, during the backtrack. No damage to the aircraft was reported. RED-1 inspected the runway but found nothing, most likely due to the use of the runway by two succeeding aircraft after the Citation. Nil TSB
