Incident at CHARLOTTETOWN AIRPORT

Summary

2001-03-19: CGTHL C172 landing Charlottetown the first contact with aircraft was at 0154z inside the zone apprx 3 miles west of the airport contrary to MF reporting procedures. An airport advisory was given for runway 10 at that time and the aircraft did a touch/go 3 minutes later at 0157z. Pilot stated that he was aware of the requirement to call prior to entering the zone. Other OPI General Aviation Nil TSB
2001-10-18: Update October 17, 2001. General Aviation. CADORS Narrative Update: The PIC was a licensed pilot conducting a dedicated training flight. The PIC received counselling and all flight training concerns were addressed. No further follow up action was required by MART.
