Incident at J.A. DOUGLAS MCCURDY SYDNEY AIRPORT (TCAS alert, Conflict - loss of separation)
2001-03-06: IBE6283 B763 and COA18 B764 operated on reciprocal tracks with less than required separation. Required separation was 5NM radar or 1000´ vertical. Separation degraded to less than 5NM at the time vertical separation was restored. Both aircraft responded to resolution advisories from their on board TCAS. TSB case closed with more to follow.
