2001-01-15: CDN3834 B737 on approach to St. John´s Runway 11 did a missed approach due Flap Indicator Problem. Aircraft Declared an Emergency and performed another approach to Runway 11. Emergency Reponse requested. Aircraft landed at 1641z with no problems. TSB Case closed with more info to follow.
2001-01-17: TSB Update A01A0004: The Canadian Airlines Boeing 737-200, operating as CDN3834, was on approach to St. John´s International Airport when the crew conducted a missed approach due to a flap indication problem. Before performing a second approach the crew declared an emergency and requested Airport Fire Fighting service to standby. The aircraft landed uneventfully on RWY 11 at 12:45 NST.
