Incident at Fredericton


2000-06-11: C-GZFZ BE35 enroute St-John to Moncton advised Moncton Center that he was at 7,500 feet and was diverting to Fredericton due to a generator failure. The pilot indicated that he would be turning off his radio to conserve battery power and his ETA would be 5 to 10 minutes. The airport advisory was given with the runway 27 as the preferred runway and that all other runways would be kept clear in case he wanted to use runway 15. The aircraft arrrived safely and the pilot advised that the problem was a loose wire. NIL TSB
