Incident at Gander Oceanic


2000-04-05: FDX10 DC10 at time 1339Z reported off course due INS error. Present position was 5313N5048W. At that time , the acft was south of his company traffic but FDX8 had crossed his track with insufficient longitudinal separation. When asked the pilots intentions, he advised he had his INS back and was requesting clearance back on course. Acft was descended to FL280 and was recleared back on course. TSB case closed.
