2000-07-18: CFPOS C172 landing runway 22 when the aircraft turned off the runway just prior to Taxi "G" the aircraft went off the runway by about 15 feet. Aircraft was pushed back on runway by the occupants. Runway 22 was closed from 2354-0009. No other traffic impacted. Aircraft did not appear to have sustained any damage. Nil TSB Update: C-FPOS
was taxing and turned off the runway just short of the taxi way onto grass and light snow. The aircraft was shutdown and inspected by flight instructor/pilot and there was no damage found. The aircraft was manually pushed back onto the runway. The aircraft was later inspected by Springdale Aviation maintenance and no damage was found. Update: This was an instructor with a licensed pilot on board working toward the Commercial Pilot Licence dual requirements. Gander tower asked them to expedite their taxi and in their haste they cleared the runway onto the grass. There was no damage. The CFI has discussed this incident with the instructor and trainee and has no flight training concerns.
