Summary

2000-03-23: C-GZJH C152 attempted a force landing and struck electrical wires causing substantial damage to the aircraft. Pilot in hospital with non life threatening injuries. TSB case closed. TSB file # A00A0044 Maintenance discovered fuel tanks empty. Records indicate 7.7 hours of operation since last refueling. A/C is equipped with long range tanks good for 6+ hours in this type of operation.
