Incident at Goose Bay NF (Aerodrome, runway or taxiway shutdown)

2000-03-08: CFAPQ DHC3 landed runway 26 Goose Bay. As the aircraft slowed to near taxi speed it veered right and came to a stop on the black top near the edge of the snow. The aircraft was shutdown and the pilot and passenger got out to assess the situation. After several attempts the aircraft taxied off the Runway under it's own power with the passenger walking and assisting as required. Other aircraft in the pattern were switched to runway 34.
