Incident at Fredericton NB (Aerodrome - other)

Summary

2000-02-21: At 1105z a snowplow operator reported finding a 6 inch by 6 inch by 20 inch piece of wood with a chrome handle at the threshold of runway 33. Air Canada operations identified the item as a wheel chock belonging to the refueling truck and this was verified by the refueler. ACA641 departed runway 33 at 1051z and was the only aircraft to use the runway that morning. Air Canada operations suspected that the chock was left between the aircraft main gear and during taxiing it was carried to the threshold of runway 33. The pilot was advised at 1115z and will inspect the aircraft when it arrives in Toronto. Nil TSB
