Incident at Gander Oceanic


2000-02-25: SAB538 A330 enroute Newark to Brussels declared a MAYDAY due to Severe Turbulence and commenced a descent to FL330. Gander ACC advised flight of traffic at FL330 and issued clearance to FL340. SAB538 descended to FL340 and returned to normal flight. TSB Case Closed with more to follow. Update: SAB538 descended to FL340 and returned to normal flight. No reported Injuries. TSB file # A00A0026
