Incident at Saint John

Summary

2000-01-31: SFSH02 P-3 conducting an ILS approach and circling out over the Bay of Fundy, cancelled IFR and entered into a right -base for runway 05 with intent of conducting circuits. Approximately 2 minutes after touched down, pilot radioed that he was aborting the touch-and -go and would be heading to the ramp for fuselage inspection. Pilot reported passing through a flock of 30-40 sparrows down the runway from the 05 threshold. No damage reported to the aircraft or birds found on runway. NIL TSB
