Incident at Saint John NB

Summary

2000-02-07: ARN873 DH8 departing Saint John NB, shortly after the aircraft started the roll on Rwy 32 the pilot informed the FSS that he was rejecting the take-off and exited in Twy D. He advised they had an elevator problem, which was fixed. They taxied back out and departed at 1539z. No assistance required. NIL TSB Corrected copy: Incident occurred at 1536z vs. 1836z. Departed at 1539z. Update: Further investigation indicates that it was not an elevator problem. A/C did not taxi back to gate and re-prepared themselves for what was an uneventful take-off. There was no maintenance issue or action required.
