Incident at Fredericton NB

2000-01-21: ARN854 DH8 rejected take - off due to Auto Feather not arming. ARN854 came back to ramp and did some checks and contacted Maintenance. ARN854 departed for Moncton at 1629z No other aircraft inconvenienced. NIL TSB UPDATE: After rejected take-off (auto feather failed to arm), flight crew consulted with maintenance and the MEL, which allowed the flight to continue to maintenance base. En route, landed in Moncton (part of normal legs). While in Moncton flight crew raised snag regarding a low pressure caution light. A maintenance crew went to Moncton to clear the low pressure snag and also checked the autofeather system. Results of the check on the autofeather system was "no fault found" - system was in normal operation and was cleared by maintenance. "suspect" the autofeather system snag may have been a temperature related issue, but no evidence to this suspicion. End.
