Incident at High Level, AB

Summary

2000-03-16: Approximately 1500 feet into the take-off roll on Runway 13 at High Level, the pilot of C-GDGD, a Pilatus PC-12, reported the take-off was being aborted. The pilot later informed the FSS the reason for the aborted take-off was a faulty electrical indication in the cockpit. No impact on other airport/flight operations. The aircraft departed at 0310Z. OPI - Maintenance and Manufactuirng (Ontario Region) UPDATE M. & M. reported that the problem was a faulty gauge. A ferry permit was issued and the a/c was flown to a maintenance facility, where the gauge was replaced. An SDR has been filed with Transport Canada.
