Incident at YELLOWKNIFE NT (CYZF)

Summary

1999-10-12: The crew of C-GMAS, a DHC-6, on an IFR flight plan to Fort Simpson Island taxied to position on Runway 27 at Yellowknife without permission from the Tower while company C-FKAY, a Cessna 208, was on short final for the same runway. The Tower pulled the arrival up and made it go around for another approach. No other aircraft were inconvenienced and operations returned to normal shortly thereafter. OPI - Enforcement
