Incident at 50 NM N of Winnipeg, MB


1999-10-04: C-GFSB, a Beech King Air, was inbound to Winnipeg on an IFR flight from Cross Lake when the a/c experienced a radio failure. The crew was able to make contact with Winnipeg FSS on a cell phone and an approach clearance was issued. The crew was able to re-establish radio contact during the approach and landed uneventfully at 1722Z. The problem apparently was a "stuck" microphone. OPI - System Safety
