Incident at Saskatoon, SK

Summary

1999-09-29: Canadian Regional Airlines aircraft C-FTAS, an F28, departed Saskatoon (YXE) on Sept.27/99 and had to do a turnback because its main landing gear doors would not go all the way up. The aircraft returned to YXE and landed without incident. Maintenance inspection revealed the 'gear test valve' in the ground/pressure position. The valve was returned to normal position and the aircraft returned to service with no further incidents to report. OPI - System Safety
