Incident at Kelsey, MB

Summary

1999-09-20: CAV 7190, a DHC-6 Twin Otter with 2 crew, departed Kelsey for Thompson and a short time later the crew advised they had shut down the left engine. They returned to Kelsey and landed safely. The nature of the engine problem is not known. TSB has been advised and more information may be available. OPI - System Safety UPDATE TSB reported that the problem was related to a faulty beta microswitch.
